Your negotiating team will meet with the administration this Tuesday and again during spring break. Your team will continue to pass our proposals and wait for the administration to respond. I hope to report in a future email that the administration has increased its response rate to our proposals.

As all of us are affected by these lengthy negotiations and the gloomy plans coming from Springfield, it is important to remember that together we can survive what seems to be the perfect financial storm. To that end, I encourage you to engage in activities that not only increase our visibility but bring us together in an affirmation of higher education and the NEIU community.
